One Dead and Two Injured in Lawrence County Wreck
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported a fatal two-vehicle wreck near Moulton on Sunday. The incident occurred at around 12 p.m. on Alabama 157 near Lawrence County Road 150, claiming the life of Kendall Lee Dean, a 48-year-old resident of Florence.
According to ALEA, Dean was driving a 2014 Ford Focus when it collided head-on with a 2004 GMC Yukon. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Yukon sustained injuries and was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, a passenger also suffered injuries and was transported to North Alabama Medical Hospital.
As troopers with the Alabama Highway Patrol continue their investigation into this tragic incident, no further information is available at this time.
