One Killed in Crash Involving Cement Truck

The Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) responded to a fatal accident involving a cement truck on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 48 and Highway 24 in Amite County.
According to MHP officials, a cement truck was traveling east on Highway 24 when it collided with a westbound 2016 Dodge Charger driven by Antwuan L. Coleman, a 22-year-old resident of McComb.
Tragically, Coleman sustained severe injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities. The MHP has launched an investigation into the cause of this devastating crash.
