Palmer Police reported that one person was killed in a late-night crash on Thursday. The incident occurred on Wilbraham Street, and the department began receiving calls about the serious crash around 10:22 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a single-car crash with the driver suffering life-threatening injuries. The occupant was immediately transported to Baystate Wing Hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.
As of this time, the identity of the occupant has not been released, and the incident remains an active investigation. Wilbraham Street is currently closed between North Main Street and Calkins Road as police continue to investigate the crash. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes.
