Driver Killed in Orangeburg Car Crash

South Carolina Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash that occurred on Saturday night in Orangeburg. According to Lance Cpl. Brittany Glover, the incident happened at around 9:37 p.m. on Fort Motte Road at Dillon Court.
The driver of a 2003 Chevy S-10 pickup truck was heading southbound on Fort Motte Road when it veered off the left side of the road, hit an embankment and overturned. Unfortunately, the driver who was alone in the vehicle died instantly from injuries sustained during the accident.
As of now, authorities have not released any information about the identity of the deceased driver.
