85-Year-Old Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Frederick, South Dakota

One person died in a two-vehicle accident that occurred south of Frederick, South Dakota on Friday. The incident involved a 2008 Ford F250 pickup truck and a Buick LaCrosse. The South Dakota Department of Public Safety stated that the Ford was heading south on U.S. Highway 281 while the Buick was traveling northbound on the same highway and attempted to make a left turn onto South Dakota Highway 10. Unfortunately, the Buick turned in front of the Ford causing both vehicles to collide.
The driver of the Buick LaCrosse, an 85-year-old man whose identity has not been released yet, sustained severe injuries during the crash and passed away as a result.
As per reports from authorities, investigations into this fatal accident are still ongoing by South Dakota’s Highway Patrol.
