Michael Krey Dead After One-Vehicle Rollover Crash in Adams County

Michael Krey was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man has died in a one-vehicle rollover crash in Adams County, Wisconsin. According to the sheriff's office, 34-year-old Michael Krey was found dead inside his vehicle after it rolled over and landed mostly submerged in a drainage ditch on the north side of County Highway D in the Township of Leola.

Deputies attempted to search for anyone inside the vehicle but were unable to open its doors or windows. The Waushara Fire Department also tried unsuccessfully to break through the floor of the car before a tow company arrived and removed it from the water.

Officials attempted life-saving efforts on Krey but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff’s office stated that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in this accident which remains under investigation.
