The New Orleans Police Department is currently investigating a crash that occurred at the Interstate 10 westbound on-ramp at Crowder Boulevard in New Orleans East. The incident happened early this morning around 6:26 a.m.
According to reports, an 18-wheeler overturned on the on-ramp causing it to close down. As of now, police are asking drivers to avoid the area while they investigate.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the accident. However, authorities have not yet released any information regarding what may have caused the truck to overturn.
