Overturned Cement Truck Causes Delays on I-15 Northbound in Las Vegas, Adult Male Driver Injured

One travel lane was open while crews cleaned up the area.
Nevada State Police reported an overturned cement truck on the I-15 northbound, causing traffic delays and road closures. The incident occurred at around 9:15 a.m. on Monday morning, just north of Washington.
The driver of the cement truck experienced a mechanical issue, possibly a blown tire, which caused him to overcorrect his steering and resulted in the vehicle overturning. The adult male driver was transported to University Medical Center with minor injuries.
As crews worked to clean up the area, only one travel lane was open for motorists heading northbound on I-15 near Lake Mead Blvd. Nevada State Police advised drivers to expect delays and take alternate routes while they dealt with the situation.
As of 2pm, RTC updated that all lanes had reopened for normal traffic flow.
