Overturned crash on Atlantic City Expressway causes traffic delays

An overturned crash on the Atlantic City Expressway caused a major traffic jam for several hours on Tuesday evening in Winslow Township. The incident occurred around 4 p.m.
Footage of the scene from above, showed one vehicle had crashed into the woods. The westbound lanes between exits 33 and 38 heading towards Philadelphia were closed for several hours due to the accident.
Both lanes were reopened after 6 p.m., but not before causing significant delays for commuters. While injuries were reported in connection with this crash, further details have yet to be released by authorities.
The New Jersey State Police are currently leading an investigation into this incident.
