Overturned Semi-Truck Causes Traffic Delays on I-675 in Beavercreek

Beavercreek, Ohio - In the early hours of this morning, Beavercreek Police and Fire responded to a scene on Interstate 675 North just beyond Kemp Road where they discovered an overturned semi-truck. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:56 a.m., prompting officers to block the northbound lanes near Kemp Road for several hours. Initially, only the left lane remained open while emergency responders worked diligently to clear the vehicle and any debris.
However, due to the challenging nature of removing the overturned semi-truck from the roadway, all northbound lanes were eventually shut down at around 7:20 a.m. This closure forced traffic to be rerouted onto U.S. 35 East.
Commuters in the area were advised to avoid traveling through this region and utilize alternative routes in order to prevent further congestion on surrounding roads. The Beavercreek Police Department has taken charge of investigating this crash.
