Dario Alves and Christopher Gillespie Involved in Overturned Tractor-Trailer Crash in Manchester

Alves suffered minor injuries and Gillespie was issued an infraction for Failure to Maintain Lane, Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance.
State police have reported that five lanes are closed on Interstate 84 Westbound in Manchester due to an overturned tractor-trailer crash. The incident occurred at around 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Troop H.
A Fedex tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on I-84 when a Volkswagen suddenly veered into its lane and collided with the truck. The driver of the truck, Dario Alves, lost control of the vehicle, hit the concrete barrier in the right shoulder, and the truck rolled over.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Alves sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the Volkswagen, Christopher Gillespie, was found at fault for the accident and was issued an infraction for Failure to Maintain Lane, Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance.
As of 9:00 a.m., the crash site is clear, according to CTRoads.org. Motorists are advised to take caution while driving in the area.
