21-Year-Old Dace Green Killed in Owosso Car-Bicycle Crash

An Owosso man lost his life after being hit by a car while riding an E-bike. The incident occurred on Thursday, June 8th at around 10 p.m. According to the city's report, officers from Owosso Public Safety responded to the intersection of Gould Street and E. Main Street for reports of a car-bicycle crash.
The investigators found that Dace Green, a 21-year-old resident of Owosso was riding southbound on Gould Street when he went through a blinking red light and collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound on Main Street. Unfortunately, Green suffered fatal injuries during the accident.
The driver of the car remained unharmed in this unfortunate event. However, detectives from Owosso Police and an Accident Reconstructionist from Michigan State Police are investigating this case further.
