29-year-old Parker Radford Killed in Accident on Peach Orchard Road in Augusta

One person died from their injuries.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, a pedestrian was killed in an accident on Peach Orchard Road in Augusta. The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Parker Radford from North Augusta. Deputies responded to the scene at Boykin Road around 11:08 p.m. on Saturday night.
Radford was taken to Augusta University Medical Center where he later died from his injuries in the pre-dawn hours Sunday morning. While this is still an ongoing investigation, no autopsy will be done.
The cause of the accident and further details have not yet been released by authorities.
