Pedestrian died at the scene
The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the pedestrian who was tragically killed in a crash in Greenville County. The victim has been identified as Kenneth Aaron Strider, a 39-year-old resident of Wilmington, North Carolina.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 9:45 p.m. along Highway 25. Reports indicate that Strider was crossing the road when he made contact with an SUV and was subsequently struck by a tractor-trailer.
Tragically, Strider succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. The coroner's office determined that his cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries and ruled it as an accident.
Fortunately, no other individuals were injured during this unfortunate incident.
