Mount Pleasant Police Investigating Fatal Car Crash Involving Pedestrian

Police in Mount Pleasant, Michigan are investigating a fatal car crash that occurred early Saturday morning. The incident happened at around 1:45 a.m. on June 24th near the intersection of West High Street and South Henry Street.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a 31-year-old woman who had been hit by a truck. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck, identified as a 19-year-old male from Mount Pleasant, was not injured in the crash.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact authorities by calling 989-773-1000 or anonymously calling 989-779-9111.
