Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw has returned to full duty on Monday, April 12, after being injured in a car crash on March 29. According to police reports, Outlaw was riding in a vehicle when an Uber driver ran a red light and struck her car at the intersection of 15th and Race Streets in Center City.

Outlaw was immediately taken to the hospital for evaluation of back pain. The Uber driver and his passenger also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Outlaw's return to full duty was confirmed by the Philadelphia Police Department. No further details were provided regarding her current condition.
