Two Injured After Pickup Truck Crashes into Apartment Building in Chicago
Chicago police reported that two people were injured after the pickup truck they were riding crashed into an apartment building on Friday night. The incident happened at around 9:25 p.m. in the 4500 block of N. Kedzie, located in Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The driver of the truck was heading northbound on Kedzie when it lost control and collided with the building, according to authorities. Both a male driver and female passenger were taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital for treatment but are currently listed as being in fair condition.
Fortunately, no one inside the apartment building was hurt during this accident, confirmed by Chicago Fire Department officials who responded to the scene.
Further details regarding what caused this crash have not been released yet by law enforcement officials.
