Pickup Truck Crashes into Homeless Encampment in North Hills

A pickup truck crashed into a homeless encampment in the North Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 12:15 a.m. on the southbound 405 Freeway onramp near Roscoe Boulevard.
According to a California Highway Patrol spokesperson, The truck drove off the ramp and rolled over, landing on an occupied homeless encampment. One person inside the encampment was injured and taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Fortunately, those trapped inside the pickup truck were freed and uninjured. The cause of this accident is currently under investigation by authorities.
