Pickup Truck Crashes into Parked Car on I-15 in Farmington

Two people transported to area trauma centers, one person released at the scene
According to the Kaysville Fire Department, a pickup truck crashed into a parked car on the side of I-15 in Farmington, Utah on Monday morning. The impact caused the truck to roll over.
Emergency crews from both Kaysville Fire and Farmington Fire were dispatched to the scene at around 8:40 a.m. local time. The accident occurred on southbound I-15 at State St. in Farmington.
Officials stated that the pickup truck collided with a car that was parked on the right shoulder of I-15, resulting in the truck rolling over. Kaysville Fire personnel had to extricate one person who was trapped inside the parked car. Two other individuals involved in the crash were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
"In total 3 patients were evaluated, with 2 transported to area trauma centers by FFD and KFD paramedics; the third patient was released at the scene," reported Kaysville Fire.
The Utah Highway Patrol is currently investigating this collision and no further information has been made available at this time.
