A Pittsburgh man has tragically lost his life after being involved in a vehicle and bicycle accident in Yates County, New York. The incident occurred on July 25th during the Bon Ton Roulet, a popular regional cycling event.

The victim has been identified as 81-year-old David H Bialosky from Pittsburgh. According to authorities at the Yates County Sheriff's Office, Bialosky sustained severe injuries when he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle along state Route 54.

Following the collision, emergency services rushed to the scene and transported Bialosky to Strong Memorial Hospital for immediate medical attention. He received treatment for his injuries but was later transferred to Hospice Care due to the severity of his condition.

Tragically, despite efforts made by medical professionals, Bialosky succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, August 10th. His passing serves as a devastating reminder of the dangers cyclists face on public roads and highlights the importance of road safety measures.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident. It is unclear at this time if any charges will be filed against the driver involved in the accident.
