A police officer in Trussville, Alabama was hospitalized on Tuesday following a traffic accident. The incident occurred in the 5900 block of Deerfoot Parkway, near the Trussville Police Department Patrol Operations Facility. According to the Trussville Police Department, the officer was turning into the facility's parking lot when he was struck from behind.
