88-Year-Old Woman Killed in Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in Baltimore

Police in northwest Baltimore are on the lookout for a white pickup truck that may be connected to a fatal hit-and-run incident. The incident occurred on Monday at around 5:20 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a hit-and-run crash in the 3700 block of Liberty Heights.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered an 88-year-old woman inside her vehicle, which had sustained front-end damage. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries.

An investigation into the incident revealed that the elderly woman was driving through the intersection of Liberty Heights and Callaway Avenue with a green light when she was struck by the driver of the white pickup truck who ran a red light. Following the collision, the driver fled northbound onto Callaway Avenue.

Witnesses present at the scene believe that it was a white Ford F-150 flatbed truck similar to one pictured above that was involved in this tragic hit-and-run accident. Police have stated that this vehicle should exhibit noticeable front-end damage as a result of the crash.
