Authorities Identify Ravenna Man Killed in Wreck near Kearney
The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office has identified the individual who tragically lost their life in a single-vehicle accident near Kearney on Tuesday. The victim has been named as 65-year-old Patrick Caddy from Ravenna.
Deputies from the sheriff's office promptly responded to the scene of the incident, which occurred shortly after 1:00 pm. The accident took place at the intersection of 160th Road and Highway 10, approximately five miles north of Kearney.
According to a news release issued by authorities, an SUV veered off the highway and entered the west ditch before vaulting and ejecting its sole occupant. Tragically, Mr. Caddy was found deceased near the vehicle.
In light of this unfortunate event, an autopsy has been ordered by the Buffalo County Attorney's Office to determine further details surrounding Mr. Caddy's untimely death.
