Richmond man David Warren dies in single-vehicle crash in New Castle

The Henry County Sheriff's Office has reported a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on Sunday evening in New Castle, Indiana. The accident involved a 2015 Buick Encore that had crashed into a tree off the roadway. The driver of the vehicle, identified as David Warren, 68, from Richmond was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to reports from deputies who arrived at around 5:34 p.m., the vehicle was driving eastbound on State Road 38 when it exited the roadway, crossed into the oncoming westbound traffic lane and struck a tree. It is believed that Warren may have been experiencing a medical emergency during the incident.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle had traveled for approximately 250 feet before crashing into the tree. There were no other individuals inside the car at the time of this tragic event.
As of now, there is no further information available regarding this case. The authorities are still investigating what caused Warren to lose control of his car and whether or not he suffered from any underlying health conditions.
