Road Blocked in Cross Anchor, SC Due to Dump Truck Accident

Spartanburg County Emergency Management reports a road closure caused by a dump truck accident resulting in a hazardous hydraulic fluid spill on Tuesday morning.
According to officials, the incident occurred at approximately 9:18 a.m. on Highway 49 near the intersection with Highway 56 in Cross Anchor. The driver of the dump truck sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.
As a precautionary measure, authorities have closed off the affected area while Trinity Fire and Hazmat teams work diligently to clean up and contain the spilled hydraulic fluid.
Residents are advised to avoid this section of Highway 49 until further notice. Commuters should seek alternative routes if possible.
