Rollover Crash Involving Grain Truck on I-94 near Tower City

The North Dakota Highway Patrol officials have reported a rollover crash involving a grain truck that occurred early Monday morning on I-94 near Tower City. Although the driver of the truck escaped unharmed, there is still work to be done in order to fully resolve the aftermath of this incident.

The authorities were alerted to the accident at approximately 1:15 a.m., near MM313 on I-94 E close to Tower City. According to their investigation, the truck veered off the road and crashed through the center barrier before ultimately rolling over. As a result of the crash, all of its cargo - an entire load of grain - spilled onto the interstate.

Captain Bryan Neiwind from NDHP stated that efforts are currently underway by authorities to recover both the vehicle and clean up the spillage caused by this unfortunate event. Initially, due to cleanup operations, one lane heading eastbound had been closed temporarily for safety reasons.

In addition to these challenges, part of the cable barrier was damaged as a result of impact during this rollover crash. Furthermore, some spilled grain remains scattered within the median area awaiting proper removal.
