The Loop 202 Santan Freeway in Gilbert, Arizona is now open again following a rollover crash on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. near Williams Field Road on the eastbound side of the freeway. While it is still unclear what caused the crash, the Arizona Department of Public Safety has confirmed that there were injuries involved. Fortunately, only one vehicle was involved in the accident.
As a result of the crash, all drivers had to exit at or before Williams Field Road for approximately 90 minutes until authorities reopened the freeway. However, it is important to note that during this time period, westbound lanes remained unaffected by the incident.
