17-year-old pronounced dead, woman hospitalized with serious injuries

A tragic rollover crash in Pawnee County, Kansas claimed the life of a 17-year-old and left a woman seriously injured on Saturday. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP), the incident occurred when a Kinsley woman was driving southbound on 100th Ave., approximately one and a half miles north of Kansas Highway 56.

Reports indicate that the driver lost control of her vehicle, causing it to veer into the east ditch. The car then rolled over three times before coming to a stop. Tragically, a 17-year-old passenger from Jetmore, Kansas, who was inside the vehicle at the time of the accident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency services rushed to provide assistance and transported the driver to a nearby hospital with suspected serious injuries. The exact condition of the driver has not been disclosed at this time.

The authorities are currently investigating what led to this devastating crash. It is unclear whether any external factors such as road conditions or other vehicles played a role in causing this accident.
