Erica Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Carlisle Involved in Rollover Crash in South Burlington

Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A rollover crash in South Burlington on Sunday morning resulted in two people being sent to the hospital with minor injuries. The accident occurred at around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Williston and Hinesburg roads when a Kia Sorento collided with a Chevy Avalanche, causing the pickup truck to roll onto its roof.
As a result of the collision, gasoline leaked from the overturned vehicle into the street, leading authorities to shut down Patchen Road to White Street for about an hour while crews worked to contain and clean up the spill.
According to witnesses at the scene, Erica Fitzgerald, 33-year-old resident of Pittsford who was driving the Avalanche ran through a red light. She was cited by police for having a criminally suspended license. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Carlisle, aged 33 years old from Burlington who was driving the Sorento received citations for not having insurance.
Both drivers were taken to hospital with minor injuries following this incident.
