One Person Injured in Rollover Crash on Tri-State Tollway

One person was injured in a rollover crash on the Tri-State Tollway in Chicago early Friday morning. According to Illinois State Police, the incident occurred just before 4:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of I-294 near 95th Street.
The crash involved a semi-truck and a passenger car. The truck-tractor tanker-trailer rolled over onto its side, while the passenger car veered off the road to the right. The driver of the semi was transported to Christ Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As authorities work to clear the scene, three left southbound lanes remain closed. Tow trucks are currently removing both vehicles involved in the accident.
