School Bus Involved in Two-Vehicle Accident in Houston

On Tuesday morning, a Houston Independent School District (HISD) school bus was involved in a two-vehicle accident in northeast Houston. The incident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. near a neighborhood located in the 6500 block of Firnat Street.
According to the Houston Police Department, a green vehicle collided with the back of the school bus before crashing into a nearby ditch. Fortunately, there were no students on board the bus at the time of the accident, and HISD has confirmed that the bus driver is unharmed.
The condition of the driver in the green vehicle remains unknown. Investigators from relevant authorities have been dispatched to examine and determine the cause of this collision.
