Two People Injured in School Bus and Trash Truck Crash

Two people injured, no fatalities reported
The City of Milton in Georgia was the site of a serious accident involving a school bus, a garbage truck, and another car on Thursday afternoon. The crash resulted in two people being injured.
A photo shared by the City of Milton Fire Department on their Facebook page shows the aftermath of the collision. The front end of the garbage truck is severely damaged, while the school bus can be seen lying on its side.
Fortunately, there were no students aboard the bus at the time of the incident. However, two individuals from either vehicle were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. It remains unclear which patient came from which vehicle.
In response to this accident, local authorities closed down Birmingham Highway and Batesville Road for several hours as crews worked diligently to clear up debris left behind by this devastating crash.
Investigators will also be examining whether inclement weather played a role in causing or contributing to this incident. Storms had been passing through the area around that time.
As of now, officials have not released any information regarding the identities or names of those involved in this unfortunate collision.
