Semi Crash Closes Bishop Ford Expressway in Chicago

Expressway closed in both directions
The Bishop Ford Expressway in Chicago has been closed in both directions following a semi-truck crash on Monday evening. Total Traffic reports that the expressway is shut down on the inbound side between Dolton Avenue and Doty Avenue, as well as on the outbound side between 130th Street and Dolton Avenue.
Officials state that the accident occurred near the Steel Bridge on the highway, causing the semi-truck to come to rest across a median in the area. As a result, rush-hour traffic was severely affected in both directions.
