Chickens Spill Across NB I-5 in Portland Semi-Truck Rollover

Chickens spilled across the highway, some of which died in the crash. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.
A semi-truck carrying chickens overturned on NB I-5 north of Brier Place overpass, causing a commotion in Portland. The accident occurred just after 4:45 a.m., and the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) reported it to the public.
The incident caused traffic delays, but drivers were able to get around by using the left lane. PPB stated that "many spilled out" onto the road. Crews arrived at 7 a.m. to clean up the mess from I-5.
Although some chickens died during the crash, many survived and were still alive when crews arrived at the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported for anyone involved in this rollover crash.
It is unclear what caused this accident or where these chickens came from; however, authorities are investigating further into this matter.
