Semi-Truck Crash Causes Delays for East Valley Drivers

Ramps closed for an extended amount of time
A crash on the westbound US 60 ramp near Interstate 10 in Tempe, Arizona caused delays for East Valley drivers this Friday afternoon. The accident occurred when a semi-truck driver lost control of his rig and crashed down an embankment. Fortunately, the driver only sustained minor injuries.
As a result of the crash, the ramps connecting US 60 westbound to I-10 east and westbound were immediately closed. However, at around 2:30 p.m., the eastbound ramp was reopened to traffic. And, after an extended closure of the US 60 westbound to I-10 HOV ramp, it too has been reopened.
