I-75 northbound reopened
A semi-truck crash in Gibsonton, Florida caused the closure of a section of the northbound lanes on I-75 on Tuesday, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred past exit 250, south of the Alafia River. The driver of the semi-truck sustained non-life threatening injuries after crashing into a guard rail on the highway, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol. Additionally, there was a significant fuel leak resulting from the crash. Fortunately, I-75 northbound reopened later that afternoon.
