Semi-Truck Crashes into Light Pole in Tampa Intersection

Crews in Tampa, Florida were called to remove a light pole from an intersection after a semi-truck crashed into it early this morning. The incident occurred at approximately 6:53 a.m., when the semi-truck was traveling east on Floribraska Avenue and made a southbound turn onto North Nebraska Avenue. Unfortunately, during the maneuver, the truck collided with a concrete light pole.
The Tampa Police Department reported that the driver of the semi-truck failed to stop following the crash. As a result, authorities have closed off the intersection until crews can safely remove the damaged pole.
Investigators are working to determine what led to this collision and whether any charges will be filed against the truck driver involved.
