Semi-Truck Fire in Jonesboro

No one was injured in the fire.
The Jonesboro Police Department has released dramatic video footage of a semi-truck that caught fire and swerved into a nearby grassy area. The incident occurred on June 9 near the intersection of Southwest Drive and Parker Road in Arkansas.
According to a spokesperson for the Jonesboro Police Department, the fire broke out shortly after 12:30 p.m. By 2:06 p.m., all roads except southbound Southwest Drive from Alexander to Parker Road had been reopened.
Police and fire crews were dispatched to the scene where they found the semi-truck and its trailer fully engulfed in flames. Fortunately, no one was injured in the blaze, and police have not yet released any information about the driver's identity.
The fire then spread to a nearby grassy area, prompting authorities to shut down Southwest Drive in both directions from Alexander to Wood Streets as well as Parker Road in both directions while crews worked tirelessly to extinguish it.
Despite causing significant disruption throughout Friday afternoon due to road closures caused by emergency services attending this incident; thankfully no injuries were reported during this event.
