Wreck in Lindale Involving Semi-Truck and Pickup

A serious accident involving a semi-truck and a pickup caused major traffic delays near Lindale, Texas on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred at around 8 p.m., completely blocking westbound traffic for several hours. According to DPS Sgt. Adam Albritton, the pickup flipped over in the roadway and there were ejections as a result.
As of now, there is no word on the condition of those involved in the accident. However, witnesses reported that at least one medical helicopter and several ambulances were present at the scene.
The road was cleared by 10:30 p.m., with traffic moving at a normal pace again. Authorities have not released any further information regarding this incident.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution while driving throughr this area and to follow all safety guidelines when traveling on highways or roads.
