Semi Truck Runs Off Median on Purchase Parkway near Wingo, Kentucky

A semi truck has crashed off the median along the Purchase Parkway near Wingo, Kentucky in Graves County. The accident occurred at mile marker 13.6 northbound where traffic is restricted to one lane in a work zone near the Wingo KY 339 Exit 14 Interchange.
Fortunately, the crash is not blocking traffic at this time; however, it will be halted for approximately an hour once a tow truck arrives to recover the semi. The estimated duration of recovery is two hours or approximately until 11 p.m.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists travelling northbound to use Purchase Parkway Exit 2 at Fulton to reach U.S. 45 North and then follow it northbound to Mayfield.
