Semi-Truck Gets Stuck in Oregon City Tunnel

The tunnel was successfully reopened within a half hour. No injuries were reported.
Officials from the Oregon City Police reported that a semi-truck transporting excavation equipment got stuck inside the Oregon City tunnel on Highway 99E last Friday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m., temporarily blocking the tunnel.
According to reports, no injuries were reported during the accident. However, it caused significant traffic congestion in the area as authorities worked to clear up the scene.
Thankfully, after half an hour of hard work by officials and emergency responders, they successfully reopened the tunnel for public use.
The cause of this accident is still under investigation.
