Rural Metro Fire Crews Respond to Serious Car Crash in Knox County
Rural Metro Fire crews are currently on the scene of a "serious" car crash that occurred on Rutledge Pike near Mine Road in Knox County. According to reports, one person was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency responders.
"We are working now to extricate one occupant," said officials from Rural Metro Fire. "Please use caution if you must travel this route."
The cause of the accident is still unknown at this time, but authorities have asked people to avoid the area if possible or exercise extreme caution while traveling through it.
