Male Driver and Female Passenger Ejected in Serious Car and Motorcycle Crash in Town of Maine

Male driver in serious condition, female passenger in critical condition, car driver with minor injuries
The Broome County Sheriff's Office is investigating a serious crash that occurred on Saturday morning in the Town of Maine. According to reports, a motorcycle heading southbound on Route 26 collided with a vehicle crossing the roadway at the intersection with East Maine Road.
As a result of the collision, both the male driver and his female passenger were ejected from the motorcycle. The driver sustained injuries to his back and is currently listed in serious condition at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. Meanwhile, his passenger suffered life-threatening head injuries and is now in critical condition at Wilson Hospital.
The car driver involved in the accident only received minor injuries. However, authorities are still investigating what caused this tragic incident to occur.
