Several people were injured in a serious crash that occurred on Saturday night in northwest Indiana, according to police. The incident took place at the intersection of Route 30 and Burr Street in Schererville.
Eyewitnesses reported that one vehicle involved in the crash appeared to be split in half due to the violent impact. Debris from the collision was scattered all over the roadway, including a small shoe.
