According to the Grantville Volunteer Fire Company, a single-motor vehicle accident occurred on Laudermilch Road earlier today. The accident happened at around 9:30 a.m. and resulted in the vehicle hitting a utility pole.

The fire chief stated that crews were called to assist with the clean-up process and that the operator of the vehicle was transported to hospital with unknown injuries.

As a result of the accident, Laudermilch Road will be closed from Route 22 to Dairy Lane for several hours. The fire chief estimates that it could take up to two hours for the utility pole to be replaced before reopening the road.
