Passenger injured in single-vehicle crash in Toledo

Passenger sustained moderate injuries and was taken to an area hospital by EMS. Traffic light pole and several power lines were destroyed.
Toledo Police reported that a single-vehicle car crash occurred on Suder Avenue near Shoreland/Benore around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, resulting in one person being injured and traffic lights being destroyed. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash and land upside down.
The passenger sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital by EMS. The driver, however, was not hurt. The rollover crash caused a traffic light pole and several power lines to be taken out, resulting in the destruction of three traffic lights. Crews were deployed to clean up the crash scene.
Investigators from the Toledo Police Department do not believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash, but they are unsure whether road or weather conditions played a role.
