Southbound Interstate 75 lanes have reopened in the Brandon area after a six-car crash involving an Amazon semi-truck on Wednesday afternoon. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the lanes were closed near State Road 60. Troopers received the report of the crash shortly before 2 p.m.
Traffic cameras captured heavy traffic and wet road conditions, resulting in multiple cars coming to a stop. One person sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash, while others involved suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
