South Florida Activist Daniel Agnew Killed in Multi-Car Crash on I-95

A tragic multi-car crash on Interstate 95 in Miami has claimed the life of Daniel Agnew, a South Florida activist and entrepreneur. The accident occurred early Thursday morning and involved eight cars in the southbound lanes of the 112 expressway. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, a black Tesla sedan lost control and collided with a concrete barrier before blocking part of the road. Another car then hit the Tesla, ejecting its driver who died at the scene.
Agnew was just 34 years old and co-founded Roots Collective, which is dedicated to Black apparel printing and entrepreneurship in Liberty City.
A new report suggests an open bottle of wine was found in Daniel's car leading police to suspect alcohol may have been involved; however, his brother disputes this claim stating that he believes Daniel was working late trying to fulfill an order shortly before crashing.
The family is awaiting autopsy results including toxicology reports but regardless of what they reveal - South Florida has lost another bright light too soon.
