Two people injured, driver in critical condition

According to Mayor Andre Sayegh, a stolen car crashed on Friday morning in Paterson. The incident occurred when the car was traveling northbound on McClean Boulevard and collided with a median. As a result of the accident, traffic along NJ-20 slowed down significantly.

Sayegh confirmed that two individuals were taken to the hospital following the crash. The driver is currently in critical condition with possible brain injuries while the passenger sustained minor injuries. Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved in this incident.

The police are investigating this case as it appears that the vehicle involved was stolen prior to the crash. Further details regarding how and when it was stolen have not yet been released.
