Suspect crashes stolen vehicle into parked cars in Brooklyn

At least half a dozen other cars were damaged. It did not appear anyone else was injured.

Police are on the hunt for a suspect who crashed a stolen vehicle into several parked cars in Kensington, Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 12:45 p.m. on East 7th Street.

According to witnesses, the stolen white Mercedes caused significant damage as it weaved through traffic before crashing into parked cars. The owner of the car, Edgar Gonzalez, stated that he had left his keys and phone inside while he went to grab lunch.

The suspect reportedly threw Gonzalez's phone out of the car before crashing into multiple vehicles and fleeing from the scene. Witnesses described seeing someone bleeding from their face running away.

While no injuries were reported, at least six other vehicles sustained damage during this event. Police have yet to make any arrests as they continue their investigation.
